This scene includes ncloth simulation and fluid simulation for the girls coat and the cars flame exhaust. Several layers where rendered separately, the sky and city, the helipad, the girl, and the car. This allowed for more control in compositing. Also passes where rendered for some of the layers, including diffuse, indirect, specular, and depth. The modeling and animation was done in Maya, and the rendering in mental ray. Compositing was done in Nuke. The girl model was graciously loaned to me by Yan Qin of www.polycreature.com.
